About Yeehaw Giddyup
Yeehaw Giddyup is our love letter to delicious food and having fun on our bicycles! We’re here to offer a new kind of bike adventure where fitness and fastness isn’t the top priority. We want bikepacking, and adventure cycling in general, to be approachable and fun. And we want tasty food to be at the center of everything. Our first goal with Yeehaw Giddyup is to keep things accessible to everyone that is willing to pedal their way to dinner. Our second goal is to support and uplift local, Indigenous, and sustainable food sources while educating our cycling community on how easy and delicious it is to eat well while riding bikes. What we do with Yeehaw will change and evolve with it, but these goals will remain true. We look forward to sharing many adventures and delicious snacks with you all. Yeehaw & Giddyup!
Meet our team
Bailey Batchelor (they/them)
Bailey was born and raised in Colorado and started Yeehaw Giddyup out of the desire to cook delicious food for friends in beautiful places — bikes were always a welcome bonus! Bailey has had an intense love for food since working at the local farmers market in college, which means local farms are very important to us. They realized that the type of experience they were looking for didn’t really exist, so they made it up themselves. Currently, Bailey creates the menu for events, cooks, bakes, mixes cocktails, and creates the comfy atmosphere at camp and beyond. Bailey’s biggest goal is to create an accessible and memorable experience for anyone that wants to pedal their bike to wild places.
Josh Uhl (he/him)
Josh is a midwestern fella who has a passion for bikes. He’s spent many years bikepacking all over the west. He’s a firm believer that bikes are for everyone! Josh works to share his experience and knowledge to develop routes, lead rides, and get more folks out on bikes. Josh is lovingly referred to as “camp mom” as he helps to make our campers feel comfortable out on the trail and in camp to keep bikepacking fun and nonserious.
Our events are open and safe to people of all identies.
